Catabasis Pharmaceuticals Appoints Gregg Lapointe to its Board of Directors
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 4, 2019--Catabasis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:CATB), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, today announced the appointment of Gregg Lapointe to its Board of Directors. Mr. Lapointe has three decades of commercial and financial experience and he is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cerium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing medicines for patients with rare diseases.

Prior to founding Cerium Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Lapointe served as Chief Executive Officer of Sigma-Tau Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a private biopharmaceutical company, from 2008 to 2012 as well as Chief Operating Officer from 2003 to 2008. Mr. Lapointe holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University (Montreal), a graduate diploma in Accountancy from McGill University (Montreal), an MBA from Duke University and is a CPA (Illinois).
