SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Giants manager Dusty Baker left the dugout during Saturday’s game against the Florida Marlins after feeling dizzy.
Baker was helped to clubhouse in the eighth inning of San Francisco’s 10-5 victory. Tests determined he was slightly dehydrated.
``It has to do with baseball, not getting enough sleep and a little stress,″ Giants trainer Stan Conte said. ``He just felt a little dizzy. Five minutes after we got him to the clubhouse he was fine.″
Conte said the spell was unrelated to Baker’s surgery for prostate cancer in December.
``I’m fine,″ Baker said 45 minutes after the game. ``I’m not dizzy any more.″
Bench coach Ron Wotus was in charge for the final innings and made a pitching change in the ninth.
