1 Injured, 1 Detained In W-B Domestic Stabbing
WILKES-BARRE — One man was stabbed and another was detained for questioning following a domestic dispute Thursday morning on North Main Street.
Authorities were dispatched to a home at 477 N. Main St. shortly before noon to the stabbing report. One person was taken to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital for treatment, while police detained a second for questioning at police headquarters.
Police did not identify the men, and the condition of the hospitalized man was not immediately known.
Police Chief Joseph Coffay described the case as a “domestic situation” stemming from a fight between the two men. It was too soon to know what, if any charges would be filed, Coffay said early Thursday afternoon.
