GET TOUGH: I want a strict, straight in or out policy for visa overstayers. No more of this twisting pipeline of people who come here and remain her forever without consequence. Congress get your act together.

Dracut

CAN HE DO THAT?: After reading about the gas explosions in Lawrence, when is Gov. Baker going to step up and put the locked out National Grid workers back to work. If the explosions ever happened in Lowell, I bet they’d be back to work in a second.

Lawrence

THEY WERE WARNED: The people in North Carolina were warned by their mayors, governors and even the president to evacuate because of the hurricane. No one should have died. They had time to leave and to take their animals. Why didn’t they listen?

Lowell

VOTE FOR MICHELLE: Why can’t we have someone like Michelle Malkin representing us in Congress instead of Shaheen and Hassan. She’s got courage and common sense.

Hudson, N.H.

LET’S COMMUNICATE: I am horrified by the Merrimack Valley gas pipeline explosions. But why do we have to speak to them in Spanish to get out of their homes to go to safe places? If they are in this country, shouldn’t they understand English?
