LAS PALOMAS, N.M. (AP) _ A couple and their three young daughters were found shot to death in their home after an apparent murder-suicide, authorities said Sunday.

Investigators believe the husband shot the family Saturday night, then turned the gun on himself after a domestic dispute, State Police Lt. Pete Kassetas said.

The bodies were discovered by the woman's mother, who lived nearby the family in Sierra County in southern New Mexico, police said.

Police identified the victims as Wesley Snyder, 42; his wife Ruth, 39; and daughters Holly, 12; Cala, 10; and Corrie, 8.
