Man wears skull mask, rides bike to rob Hinckley bank

HINCKLEY, Ohio — Hinckley police and federal authorities are searching for a man captured on surveillance camera Wednesday morning robbing a bank while wearing a skull mask, police said.

The man walked in to the Huntington Bank in Hinckley wearing a red sweatshirt, black gloves and a skull mask just before 9:15 a.m. and demanded money from the bank teller, Hinckley police said on their Facebook page.

Authorities said the man rode a dark colored bicycle to the bank.

Police said the man did not threaten the bank employees or use a weapon.

The man was seen riding away on the bicycle and might have jumped into a silver SUV parked nearby, police said.

Anyone with information should contact the Hinckley Police Department at 330-278-7161 or the FBI Akron office at 330-536-6156.
