Ron Miller: Clinton haters, move on
This is a response to Ed Schweitzer’s recent letter to the editor.
I know this is going to come as a shock, but news flash: Hillary Clinton lost the election.
Why you continue to insult and denigrate the Clintons is beyond belief; why? You won the election with distortions and help of a foreign government so why not give it a rest? Please, for our sake.
When you seem to distort what Chelsea Clinton said, why does it matter to you? Practicing your Christian principle of judging others? Chelsea stated: “[W]hen I think about all of the statistics, that are painful, of what women are confronting today in our country, and what even more women confronted pre-Roe, and how many women died, and how many more women were maimed because of unsafe abortion practices, we just can’t go back to that. That’s unconscionable to me.
Also, and I’m sure this will unleash another wave of hate in my direction, but as a deeply religious person, it’s also un-Christian to me.”
It had to do with what women would suffer if they went back to pre-Roe, nothing else. Lies and interpretations aside.
Besides, if you’re so interested in demeaning Bill Clinton further it is so ironic you don’t have to look any further than the current resident of the White House? What about the 16 women who have accused him of molesting and harassment? (Oh, I know he’s denied it, but so has Bill Clinton.) What about his own statements about grabbing privates? What about his proven extra-marital affairs? Are those the morals you and your Christian beliefs wish to project? I know, it doesn’t fit your politics.
