Dec. 7, 1993: Lawyers will get a chance to ask former Archbishop Robert Sanchez what he knew about sexual abuse in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe — but only if they don’t tell when or where the questioning will take place.

Sanchez’s whereabouts have been kept secret since March, when more than five women claimed they had sexual relationships with him years ago. He resigned in April.

He has been accused of knowing about the sexual abuse in his archdiocese but taking no action against it.
