Person flown from scene of Dodge County crash

TOWN OF RUBICON—One person was flown from the scene of crash in the town of Rubicon Thursday with life-threatening injuries.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, a car was traveling east on Highway 60 near Jefferson Road at 9:47 a.m. when it spun counter-clockwise and crossed into the westbound lane where it was struck by a pick up truck traveling west.

The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital. The driver of the car sustained serious injuries and was transported to Aurora Hospital in Summit. A passenger in the car sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by MedFlight to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

The crash is being investigated by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

Assisting at the scene were Wisconsin State Patrol, Hartford Fire and EMS, MedFlight, Lebanon EMS, Hustisford First Responders, Neosho Fire Department and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain.
