People who’ve been adopted are urging Connecticut lawmakers to give them access to their birth certificates, but opponents warn this could be unfair to the parents who gave them up for adoption years ago. _ FORMER FIRE CHIEF-LARCENY: A former Connecticut fire chief accused of misusing town funds has been charged with larceny. Former Niantic fire chief Stephen Wargo was arrested Wednesday and released on bond. SENT.
