Longmont Police Notes: A Crash and a DUI

Longmont police responded to the 300 block of Main St. reference a crash on Wednesday. A man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or both.

Longmont officers conducted a traffic stop Thursday in the 1600 block of Hover Street. One man was contacted and arrested for DUI-related charges.

At about 8:40 a.m. Thursday an officer with the Longmont Police Department was given information about a suspicious package that was out for delivery to a business in the 1100 block of Francis Street. The case is closed.

A Longmont police officer responded to the 600 block of Emery Street at about 1 p.m. Thursday on a wanted party. A woman was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of the Longmont Police Department. She was taken into custody and transported to the Longmont Municipal Court. The woman was brought before the municipal court judge were she pleaded guilty to her charges and was then released.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. Thursday , Longmont police responded to the 1900 block of Mountain View Avenue on a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival officers found a juvenile had been severely cut with a sharp object. The case is closed.

Longmont officers were called about 11:20 p.m. Thursday to a disturbance in the 2200 block of Dexter Drive. One juvenile female was arrested for two outstanding warrants without incident.
