Today’s game RailRiders (47-43) vs. Rochester (43-45), PNC Field, 1:05 p.m. Pitching probables: RailRiders RHP Luis Cessa (1-0, 3.00) vs. Rochester RHP Ervin Santana (MLB rehab) Off the rails ■ Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez will play seven innings in the field today in the RailRiders’ game against Rochester. Sanchez will play a full game at designated hitter Monday in Toledo, take Tuesday off and then play a full game at catcher Wednesday. ■ RailRiders 1B/DH Mike Ford will have an X-ray on his foot after he was hit by a pitch in the eighth inning. Ford hobbled down the line to first, but was lifted for a pinch runner. Manager Bobby Mitchell said Ford was pretty sore after the game. ■ Reliever Cale Coshow is not with the RailRiders right now, though no official move has been made. Mitchell said Coshow went to Tampa to get “some work on throwing technique and stuff.” Coshow has a 4.54 ERA in 27 games with SWB this year. ■ After losing highly touted outfielder Byron Buxton to a sore wrist in the first game of the series, Twins prospect Nick Gordon left Saturday’s game in the middle of an at-bat, shaking his left hand after fouling off a pitch from J.P. Feyereisen. Gordon already had his thumb taped up on the hand. Buxton’s injury also happened when he fouled off a pitch in the middle of an at-bat. — CONOR FOLEY International League North W L Pct.
