Debris From Bridge Project Remains In River

Plastic debris from the Harrison Avenue Bridge construction project still — or again — litters the banks of the Lackawanna River in South Scranton.

The bridge, which reopened about a month ago, spans Roaring Brook, which empties into the Lackawanna about a mile downstream. Debris was spotted in the river in November after heavy rains.
