Tonight: Spring ISD board to decide on a $2.8 million safety and security package
The Spring ISD board of trustees will decide to approve a $2.8 million safety and security package for 10 campuses at its regular meeting on Tuesday.
The package would fund additional security cameras, upgraded goods and building access as one of the projects outlined in the $330 million bond approved by voters in 2016.
The first package totaling $762,833 was approved in November for Wells Middle School, while a second $2.1 million package was approved in December.
The third round, known as “package C,” will include the following campuses:

Eickenroht Elementary School
Hoyland Elementary School
Major Elementary School
McNabb Elementary School
Northgate Crossing Elementary School
Salyers Elementary School
Claughton Middle School
Dueitt Middle School
Twin Creeks Middle School
The Spring ISD regular board meeting will begin at 7 p.m. today at 16717 Ella Blvd.
