Great Place to Work® and FORTUNE Name VENTERRA REALTY One of the 2018 Best Workplaces for Diversity

December 17, 2018

HOUSTON, Dec. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- At Venterra Realty, our continued growth and honor of being named a Best Workplace for Diversity is possible only through our leaders understanding the importance of diversity in the workplace and their dedication to developing teams of individuals with varied backgrounds and perspectives.

To determine the Best Workplaces for Diversity, Great Place to Work®, a global people analytics and consulting firm, analyzed anonymous survey feedback representing more than 4.4 million US employees. The list focuses on the experiences of women, people of color, LGBTQ people, employees who are Boomers or older, and people who have disabilities. The ranking is based on what these employees themselves report in a 60-question Trust Index© survey about the trust, pride, and camaraderie they experience in their workplace, and how those experiences compare to their colleagues’ reports of the same workplaces. Additional consideration included employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, the effectiveness of their leaders to ensure they’re consistently experienced, and the diversity of the company’s overall workforce and its management representation.

“The 2018 Best Workplaces for Diversity are at the forefront of creating workplaces that are better for business and better for their people,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “These workplaces not only pay attention to how diverse their workforce and management teams are, but close critical gaps in how all their people are treated and developed day-to-day.”

The Best Workplaces for Diversity stand out for creating great workplaces for all employees, regardless of their personal characteristics. Venterra Realty is committed to attracting and retaining teams of employees with varied backgrounds and perspectives while ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to thrive in our unique company culture.

“Our success has only been possible by having a diverse group of employees who believe in the Venterra vision and our values and bring them to life every day. The entire senior management team feels incredibly privileged and thankful to work with such an amazing group of employees who get up every day focused on making Venterra a great place to live and work,” said Richard Roos, Venterra Realty COO.

The Best Workplaces for Diversity list is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE based on employee feedback from Great Place to Work-Certified™ organizations. Venterra Realty was also ranked as a Best Workplace for 2016, 2017, and 2018 by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE.
