State police looking for driver after dramatic crash
CLIFTON, Maine (AP) — Maine State Police are looking for the driver of a truck after it crashed and sparked a power outage.
Trooper Joshua Lander told WABI-TV that the truck traveled off Route 9 Thursday night, went airborne, snapped a utility pole in Clifton.
Lander said the driver wasn’t at the scene, at home or in the nearby area.
About 600 people in the Clifton area lost power as a result of the pole being snapped. Power has since been restored.
