Alumni award names sought

The Watertown Unified School District is taking nomination forms for the 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award. The Distinguished Alumni Award was formed for the purpose of providing current students and the community with a vision of the outstanding legacies of Watertown High School.

The eligibility and criteria for nomination for the award is one or more of the following:

-- Nominees should be graduates of the Watertown Unified School District who have received diplomas.

-- Nominees have gone on after high school to serve their communities and world through their careers, vocations or service dedication, or through a variety of endeavors, including professional, athletic/entertainment, science/technology, community/governmental service or entrepreneur/industrial.

-- The nominee has made an outstanding contribution to society.

-- The nominee has displayed outstanding leadership.

-- The nominee is a person of historical significance.

-- The nominee has been a prominent local, state, national or world figure.

Nomination forms are available at the Educational Services Center at 111 Dodge St., or may be found at www.watertown.k12.wi.us/district/distinguishedalumniaward.cfm. Nomination forms must be received by May 1 to be considered for the 2019 award.
