Two American Fork juvenile runaways found safe in Oregon
Two male teenagers who ran away from American Fork last week were found safe in Oregon on Saturday, investigators said.
The American Fork Police Department reported Drake Mathews, 17, and Abrahm Chidester, 17, went missing on Sept. 19.
Investigators believed both teenagers had friends at American Fork High School who were sending them money through a payment app.
The missing teenagers were reportedly driving a white vehicle, police reported. The vehicle was found in Ada County, Idaho two days after their disappearance.
The two teenagers were found in Oregon on Saturday.
“They will shortly be safely on their way home. Thank you all for your help and concern,” stated a social media post from the American Fork Police Department.
