Watertown’s girls swim team opened the season with a 135-35 Badger South dual meet loss to Edgewood on Thursday at the Riverside Middle School pool on Thursday.
The 200 medley relay team of freshman Raigan Good, senior Samantha Rupprecht, sophomore Katie Johnson and junior Megan Woodward took third in 2 minutes, 3.77 seconds.
Senior Georgia Bailey placed third in the 200 freestyle in 2:27.43. Rupprecht took second in the 200 individual medley in 2:42.60 and later took second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:22.33. Woodward was second in the 50 freestyle (25.68).
The 200 freestyle team of Bailey, freshman Hailey Mauel, Rupprecht and Woodward placed third in 1:56.22.
The 400 freestyle team of Bailey, senior Harlee Micale, senior Emma Iverson and Johnson took third in 4:38.28.
Watertown’s JV team lost 76-26.
Watertown competes at the Brown Deer Invitational on Saturday at 10 a.m.
