iRACE, Old Navy,Primrose School expand in Houston market
iRACE has opened a 60,000-square-foot entertainment center in Katy Ranch Shopping Center at 24984 Katy Ranch Road. The venue has a two-level indoor kart race track, virtual reality games, NASCAR simulators, bowling, arcade games and Mike’s Garage restaurant.
NewQuest Properties will break ground on a 12,500-square-foot store for Old Navy in Brazos Town Center at the northwest corner of FM 762 and U.S. 69 in Rosenberg. The store, between Kohl’s and Gordmans, will open in the spring. Bob Conwell and Austen Baldridge of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord. Cotton Patch Café has entered the Houston market with the opening of a 4,430-square-foot restaurant serving Southern style dishes at 5431 FM 2920 Road in Spring. The Dallas-based chain has 50 locations.
Franchisees Don and Arlena McLaughlin will open a 10,000-square-foot Primrose School in the Hughes Landing on Lake Woodlands next year, The Howard Hughes Corp. announced. The building and playground will be on Hughes Landing Boulevard, next to the Two Hughes parking garage in The Woodlands.
Tune Up Salon has leased 2,105 square feet at the Shops at Harpers Crossing, 9803 Highway 242, Conroe. Jesse Hernandez represented the landlord, Hunington Properties.

Colliers International’s Tom Condon Jr. represented Patricia Al-Attas Barrett in the sale of 2.6 acres at the northeast corner of Will Clayton Parkway and Vine Forest Drive in Humble. A Tommy Car Wash Systems is planned on 1.6 acres on the corner, and 1 acre is a future retail site. Todd Womack of Southern Legacy Realty represented the buyers.
