Man dies in Orange mobile home fire
ORANGE, Mass. (AP) — Authorities have confirmed that one man has died in a mobile home fire in Orange.
Fire Chief James Young Jr. said police responded to the home just before midnight Tuesday to check on a resident and found smoke coming from the home.
The victim was found dead inside. His name has not been made public.
A spokeswoman for the state Fire Marshal’s office says the mobile home did not have any working smoke alarms.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation but appears to have started in the kitchen.
