ALBANY, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire State Police’s Marine Patrol has identified a Massachusetts man who drowned in an Albany pond after his canoe overturned.

Marine patrol officials say 49-year-old Mark Wellig of Randolph, Massachusetts, was pronounced dead Sunday after being pulled from Whitton Pond in New Hampshire.
