MAGNET — Services for Edward L. Goldman, 83, Magnet, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Magnet Community Center in Magnet. Curtis Boschult will officiate with burial in Magnet Cemetery.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Brockhaus-Howser-Fillmer Funeral Home in Norfolk.
He died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
Edward Luther Goldman, son of George L. Goldman Sr. and Rubbie Schutze, was born Dec. 13, 1934, at Falls City.
He was united in marriage to Mary M. Fure on Sept. 29, 1960, at Hastings. They were blessed with seven children.
Edward lived in Northeast Nebraska and Magnet for the last 35 years. He was a member of United Methodist Church. He loved going to church, fishing and enjoying time with his family.
Edward is survived by his children, Royelene Buckman of Springfield, S.D., Alvin Curley of Sioux City, Jerry (Nancy) Koehler of Pennsylvania and Patrick Koehler of Sioux City; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Jerry Goldman of Demming, N.M., Larry (Ella) Goldman of Springfield and Rose (Harley) Schaffer of Valley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; a sister; his spouse; two sons and a daughter.
