Littleton Perseveres on Road
ASHBURNHAM -- Littleton was never able to get that comfortable separation on Friday night, but the Tigers made enough plays to come away with a 26-20 road win over Oakmont.
“We found a way to win,” said Littleton head coach Mike Lynn, whose team improved to 2-1. “We definitely have some areas we can improve on.”
Quarterback Braden Lynn was certainly a bright spot for the Tigers, racking up 249 yards in the air on just eight completions. Six of those receptions went to older brother Austin (65 yards rushing, 150 yards receiving), who hauled in a 79-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and added a 4-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.
The Tigers never trailed in the contest and led 12-6 at the half.
Mitch Beaudoin had 12 tackles to lead the Littleton defense, while fellow senior linebacker Tucker Decoste made 8 tackles.
Luke Elliot had a 1-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
