NEW YORK (AP) _ All play and no work makes Tim Robbins a sharp hockey player, indeed.
The star of the 1995 film ``Shawshank Redemption″ took to the ice with the Chelsea All-Stars, a team of local and former pro hockey players who iced the women’s national team 6-2 Tuesday.
The actor has been playing quite a bit in the last year, three to four times a week ``when I’m not working,″ he said.
Women’s ice hockey will make its debut as an Olympic sport at the winter games to be played in Nagano, Japan, in February. The team is on an exhibition tour and is still working on settling its lineup.
Despite the lopsided score, Robbins admired his opponents.
``They were very fast _ had a great forecheck,″ said Robbins, who didn’t score any goals. ``I was very impressed.″
