Woman charged with possession, firearm handling
IRONTON — The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reports.
DRUG ARREST: Following a traffic stop Saturday, a sheriff’s deputy arrested Rebecca Suttles, 22, of the 2200 block of Sellars Street, Ashland, on charges of possession of heroin and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and transported her to jail.
DRUG ARREST: Following a traffic stop last week, a sheriff’s deputy arrested Harley A. Perkins, 26, of the 700 block of Lee Street, Barboursville, on a charge of possession of heroin and transported him to jail.
BURGLARY: A 36-year-old South Point area woman reported last week that someone came into her apartment while she was there and stole a cable company modem before running out the front door.
RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY: A 2002 Suzuki stolen out of New Mexico was recovered earlier this month outside a rural Lawrence County church.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: A 58-year-old Chesapeake area man reported earlier this month that someone stole his 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe valued at $6,000 from his driveway.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A 36-year-old Chesapeake area woman reported earlier this month that her live-in boyfriend has punched her multiple times over a three-day period. She called authorities to report the abuse.
PUBLIC INDECENCY: A 25-year-old Coal Grove area woman reported earlier this month that a man exposed himself along a trail near Lake Vesuvius. As she tried to walk by him, he brushed against her and started following her. She took a picture of the man and asked a couple for help. The man got into a white Ford F-150 and left.
