ATLANTA (AP) _ Marv Albert’s recovery from injuries in a car accident is forcing him to miss two NBA playoff games he was supposed to call for Turner Sports.

Albert was injured when the limousine he and fellow Turner and NBC announcer Mike Fratello were in hit a stalled truck Thursday. Albert was treated for a concussion, sprained ankle and cut tongue and released from the hospital Friday.

Albert will skip Tuesday night’s Jazz-Kings game on TBS and Thursday night’s Trail Blazers-Lakers game on TNT. He’ll be replaced on those telecasts by Mike Breen.

Albert also missed NBA playoff games on NBC over the weekend.
