Help needed for 24-hour Veteran Vigil this week

SYCAMORE – Volunteers are needed to set up flags starting 2 p.m. Wednesday for the 24-hour Veteran Vigil on the DeKalb County Courthouse lawn.

Anyone is invited to help set up the flags, and then take them down starting at 2 p.m. Tuesday, including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, other youth groups, veterans and non-veterans.

The 24-hour vigil itself starts at 4 p.m. Friday and ends at 4 p.m. Saturday. Veterans also are invited to help during the vigil by standing guard watch at any time during the 24-Hour Veteran Vigil.
