Absolute Digital Media Win Big At The Drum Search Awards 2019

CHELMSFORD, England--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr 9, 2019--Absolute Digital Media have already started the year with a bang, listed as finalists at the UK Biddable Media Awards and being named a leading SEO agency by Clutch. However, the full-service digital marketing agency have taken this a step further by securing yet another accolade for their collection, with a win for best use of search in the Finance and Professional Services category at The Drum Search Awards this year.

Seen as ‘the one to win’, The Drum Search Awards celebrate leading companies and individuals in the search industry. Judged by a panel of experts in the industry, not least including the Head of Global Search Marketing at LEGO Group and Head of Sales at Bing, each campaign is examined across strategy, innovation, effectiveness and tangible results. Businesses and individuals who can demonstrate a seamless integration of these are then judged against one another, through which the winner is decided.

Absolute Digital Media were nominated for the Finance and Personal Services category for their work with short-term loan lender, Uncle Buck, and were announced as deserving winners during the prestigious award ceremony. Their campaign has seen the two companies working together to produce incredible results in search, not least including position one on Google for two of the most competitive keywords in the industry – Payday Loans (avg. 301,000 searches a month) and Same Day Loans (avg. 6,600 searches per month)

Alongside these positions, Absolute Digital Media’s carefully designed campaign saw the personal finance company gain a 76.64% increase in top three positions, as well as a 105.17% rise in new users on their website. This, accompanied by an adaptive and innovative strategy saw Absolute Digital Media enhance Uncle Buck’s position despite various Google algorithm updates, including the Medic update of August 2018 and the more recent broad core algorithm update in March - both of which saw YMYL (Your Money Your Life) sites affected.
