ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) _ Joel Koplik scored 16 points and Brian Lloyd added 14 to lead Brown to an 85-55 victory over Cornell in an Ivy League game Friday night.

The Bruins (11-10 overall, 6-3 Ivy League), who have won five of their past seven games, scored the first 16 points of the game, holding Cornell (8-13, 3-6) scoreless for more than four and a half minutes. Brown shot 64 percent from the field in the first half to take a 49-22 lead at halftime.

The closest Cornell got in the second half was 24 points. Freshman Bo Buettenback led the Big Red with 11 points.
