SPECIALTY LICENSE PLATES-OHIO

CINCINNATI _ A review of specialty license plates shows Ohio State University collected the most money last year for those types of plates of any entity in the state. The Cincinnati Enquirer reports its review of Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles data shows Ohio State received $585,800 for more than 22,000 plates last year. Specialty license plates show drivers’ support for a cause, team or school while also donating to the organization. OSU uses money its gets from license plates for scholarships. SENT: 300 words.

_ FATAL SHOOTING-TEEN: Police say a 14-year-old girl has been fatally shot in Canton.

_ OHIO GOVERNOR-YOUNG CHILDREN: Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine is drawing attention to a key policy priority with a proclamation honoring young children.

_ ANTIOCH WRITERS’ WORKSHOP: A literary program in Ohio aimed at supporting and educating writers is shutting down after 33 years.
