February 7, 2019

BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb 7, 2019--Ipswitch®, producer of award-winning and easy-to-use secure file transfer and network management software, received a 2018 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation ® award by National Association for Business Resources (NABR ) for the third consecutive year. Ipswitch scored above the regional average in eight out of 10 categories and was well above average for employee education and development, communication and shared vision, diversity and inclusion, as well as community initiatives.

“We may be a global company, but we have the soul of a startup,” said Steven Rotman, Chief People Officer at Ipswitch. “We continue to strive for high marks on the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For competition, and are happy to have accomplished that again this year. We are particularly proud of high scores in the community initiatives category as our employees are dedicated to giving back to the community through various local volunteer events and charity auctions throughout the year.”

Ipswitch supports a wide range of charities, and has a strong partnership with The Foundation To Be Named Later, the charitable foundation of Paul and Theo Epstein. Recently during Ipswitch’s global 2019 kickoff event, the company spearheaded a global event benefitting the Dimock Center, an affiliated partner of the Red Sox organization that provides Boston residents with access to high quality, low cost health care and human services that might not otherwise be available.

Ipswitch also puts a strong emphasis on employee education and development. The company’s global corporate development program, iLead, creates growth opportunities for employees across all offices and professions. Past courses include Bridging the Communication Gap, Effective Teamwork and Developing Resilience. These programs include current, research-based content taught by highly experienced outside trainers.

The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For competition identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in human resource practices and employee enrichment. Organizations are assessed based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more. All participating companies receive a complimentary assessment report and benefits throughout the year.

Best and Brightest winners are companies and organizations that push operational standards forward, foster constructive environments and display a commitment to their team members and community. An exclusive celebration for the 2018 winners is taking place at the Best and Brightest National Summit, September 15-17, 2019 in Chicago.
