Law firm agreement should be public -- Glenn Schmidt
I’m confused by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos’ refusal to divulge the contents of an agreement with a law firm that helped with the redistricting process.
Speaker Vos, R-Rochester, cites attorney-client privilege. I’m fine with that. But I thought that we, the people of Wisconsin, were the clients and entitled to know what our agreements say.
If we’re not the clients, I guess I’m fine with that, too. But then Speaker Vos will need to pick up the $850,000 tab, not us.
