BOSTON (AP) _ Dagny Mellgren and Maren Meinert scored two goals each as the Boston Breakers beat the New York Power 5-2 Saturday night.

The Breakers ended a four-game winless streak (0-2-2), which dated to a 2-1 victory over New York on May 18. The five goals set a franchise record for one game.

Mellgren gave Boston a 1-0 lead with her first goal in the fourth minute.

New York's Tiffeny Milbrett tied it game in the 15th minute, but six minutes later Meinert scored on a breakaway to put Boston ahead for good.

Meinert scored again in the 27th minute to give the Breakers a 3-1 lead.

Emily Janss pulled New York within a goal in the 39th minute. But in the second half, New York scored an own goal, as a clearing attempt by Ronnie Fair deflected off teammate Wynne McIntosh and into the net.

Mellgren added her second goal in the 58th minute.
