Motorcyclists’ Run For The Wall goes through region
HURRICANE, W.Va. — Hundreds of motorcyclists rode through Hurricane, West Virginia, on Wednesday evening as the riders in the 31st annual Run For The Wall made their way through the state on the way to Washington, D.C.
The riders went from Interstate 64 to Valley Park.
The ride began May 15 in Ontario, California, and will end in Washington, D.C., as the riders participate in Rolling Thunder’s Ride for Freedom on Friday, May 24. The riders will also lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery.
The annual Run For The Wall motorcycle ride honors surviving veterans and those who are prisoners of war, missing in action or killed in action, and supports all active military personnel.
