Local residents earn degree from WGU

SALT LAKE CITY — The following local residents have received their degree from Western Governors University. The online, nonprofit university held its commencement ceremonies earlier this year to celebrate the graduation of more than 15,000 students from across the country.

• Dell Adkins of Barboursville received his post-baccalaureate teacher preparation in science (5-12) degree.

• Travis Gue of Branchland received his master of science in nursing — leadership and management (BSN to MSN) degree.

• Ronika Bompus of Huntington received her master of science in nursing — leadership and management (RN to MSN) degree.

• Christina Haymaker of Huntington received her master of science in management and leadership degree.

• Jeremy Kilgore of Huntington received his master of science in nursing — leadership and management (BSN to MSN) degree.

• William Warner of Huntington received his MBA in healthcare management degree.

• Jamie Ward of Kenova received her master of Science in Nursing — leadership and management (BSN to MSN) degree.
