SEOUL, South Korea (AP) _ A U.S. military spokesman today released the names of three soldiers killed when two U.S. Army helicopters collided during nighttime maneuvers south of Seoul.

Spokesman Billy Fullerton identified them as pilot Chief Warrant Officer Leslie R. Carlson, 37, of Dumfries, Va.; pilot Warrant Officer Victor L. Fitzgerald, 25, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and crew chief E-3 Jeffrey A. Winget, 22, of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Three other crew members suffered minor injuries in Monday’s collision of two UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters from the 201st Aviation Co. at Camp Humphreys, about 43 miles south of Seoul.

The crash occurred near the army unit.
