BCESD holding special meeting Monday; board president resigning
BULLHEAD CITY — Members of the Bullhead City Elementary School District will meet Monday at 4 p.m. at the Colorado River Schools District Office, 1004 Hancock Road.
Scheduled is possible action to accept the resignation from the board of President Melinda Sobraske, who was first elected to the board in 2012.
The remaining members will elect another president and clerk.
Also planned is to modify the timeline for the search for a new superintendent. They would set dates and times for interviews of superintendent job candidates.
CRS Superintendent Benje Hookstra is leaving at the end of the school year. There will be two superintendents — one for each district.
Colorado River Unified High School District chose a new superintendent to lead that district last week. Todd Flora of Flagstaff starts work heading the CRUHSD on July 1.
