FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) _ Moses Moreno passed for two touchdowns, Jaime Blake ran for two more and Geoff Turner and Darran Hall each scored on punt returns as Colorado State routed Hawaii 63-0 on Saturday.

Moreno threw his TD passes in the first half as the Rams (3-2, 1-1 Western WAC) built a 35-0 halftime lead over the Rainbow Warriors (0-3, 2-3). He played three quarters and finished 17-of-20 for 174 yards.

In the second period, Turner took a punt by Chad Shrout on his own 20 and evaded several tacklers and went 80 yards for a TD. Late in the fourth quarter, Hall fielded a punt and went 60 yards for another score.

CSU’s defense held Hawaii to only three first downs in the first half and 87 total yards while the Rams ran for 244 yards.

Josh Skinner led the Rainbow Warriors to their best scoring chance on the first series of the third quarter, but the drive fizzled on the CSU 25 and Eric Hannum’s 42-yard field goal attempt was wide left. Hannum’s 49-yard attempt at the beginning of the second quarter was blocked by Joey Porter, who also had three sacks.

Moreno got the Rams going on the first possession, capping a 63-yard drive with a 2-yard scoring pass to tight end Derrek Uhl.

His 6-yard TD pass to Eli Workman came less than two minutes into the second quarter and capped a five-play, 58-yard drive set up by Porter’s block of Hannum’s field goal attempt.

That TD pass was the 40th of Moreno’s CSU career and established a school record.

The Rams’ defense also contributed a touchdown in the first quarter when safety Eric Olson scooped up a fumble by Skinner, who had been sacked, and ran 18 yards to the end zone.

That gave the Rams a 13-0 lead. Jaime Blake scored the other TD in the half with a 1-yard run with 3:09 left, then added a TD on an 18-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Kevin McDougal led the Rams with 103 yards rushing on 14 carries _ his third straight 100-yard game.
