Former Skating Board Member Dead at 88
GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) _ Dr. Frank Petkevich, a radiologist who once served on the board of the U.S. Figure Skating Association, died Tuesday following two recent heart attacks. He was 88.
The son of Lithuanian immigrants, Petkevich settled in Great Falls in 1949, joining Columbus Hospital and opening a private practice.
His son, John Misha Petkevich, competed on the 1968 Winter Olympic figure skating team.
Survivors include his son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren in San Francisco. His wife, Delphine, died in 1988.
Funeral services are pending.
