Woman injured in collision east of Scottsbluff
SCOTTSBLUFF — One person was taken to the hospital on Monday morning after a two-vehicle accident just east of Scottsbluff.
State Patrol Trooper Brandon Buhlke said the driver of the Chevy truck, eastbound on Highway 26, was attempting to turn right onto Earnst Street when the Toyota car struck him from behind.
“They just didn’t see that he was turning,” he said.
Buhlke got the call for the accident around 10 p.m. The Toyota was totaled in the accident.
One woman with facial bruises was sent to Regional West via Valley Ambulance. The driver of the truck also went to the hospital to be checked out.
In addition to the State Patrol, Scottsbluff Rural Fire Department and Scottsbluff Police Department were also on-site.
