Teens arrested in robbery of woman outside UPMC Magee in Oakland
Two teenagers used a stun gun to rob a woman outside an Oakland hospital Tuesday night, police said.
The victim was walking at the intersection of Halket and Louisa streets outside UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital when she saw two young women “playing with a stun gun,” Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV reported.
As the victim tried to pass the women, one of them lunged toward her with the stun gun but did not strike her, police said.
The victim, whose name was not released, handed over personal items and ran into a local restaurant to call police.
Delaysha Pryor, 17, and Delaya Knuckles, 18, were arrested after the victim provided descriptions of them to police.
Pryor was found with the victim’s ID and Knuckles admitted the stun gun was in her pants, police said.
