VirtualHealth Recognized by Modern Healthcare as a 2018 Best Place to Work

May 16, 2018

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 16, 2018--VirtualHealth, the leading SaaS platform for care management and population health, announced today that it has been selected by Modern Healthcare as a 2018 Best Place to Work in Healthcare. This award, which recognizes outstanding employers in the healthcare industry nationwide, is based on an assessment process that includes comprehensive employee surveys conducted in partnership with the Best Companies Group.

The recognition comes at a time of rapidly increasing industry demand for VirtualHealth’s innovative care management platform, which has resulted in three consecutive years of triple-digit revenue growth for the company. VirtualHealth has experienced a 60% increase in staff since May 2017 and moved to a larger office space in New York’s flourishing Flatiron area to accommodate the expanding team.

“Despite our rapid growth, we have continued to unify the VirtualHealth team through a shared mission while simultaneously celebrating its diversity,” said Adam Sabloff, founder and CEO of VirtualHealth. “To be recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of healthcare’s Best Places to Work is an honor and testament to our employees and their dedication to the company, our clients and one other.”

VirtualHealth ensures its employees can achieve their full potential through ongoing education and training designed to advance skills and leadership abilities. The company also promotes team-building through opportunities to connect outside the office, including quarterly team get-togethers featuring activities ranging from bowling and trivia contests to volunteering at one of the many charities supported by its employees.

“Whether on the frontline or in the top office, healthcare employees witness moments that can either inspire or dishearten them. That can take a toll on an individual and healthcare organizations must take extra steps to ensure that highs and lows during the workday don’t impact engagement or performance,” said Modern Healthcare Editor Aurora Aguilar. “This year’s best places to work, voted on by the employees themselves, exemplify what it takes to maintain dedication and satisfaction among its employees and that is the key to good patient care.”

The complete list of winners, in alphabetical order, is available here. Modern Healthcare will publish a special supplement featuring ranked lists of winners along with the October 1 issue. The 2018 Best Places to Work in Healthcare awards gala will take place on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Renaissance Dallas. Information on the award and dinner program is available here.
