WHITEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Two more people have been sentenced to prison for their role in the 2015 kidnapping and slaying of a North Carolina woman.

The StarNews reports Michael Williams and Kayla Turner pleaded guilty Monday to charges including second-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping. Williams and Turner were sentenced to 30 years and 20 years, respectively, for the slaying of 26-year-old Alicia Deans.

They entered plea agreements and testified against Nathan Elisha Tyler Jr. when he was sentenced to life in prison last week for his role in the killing. Prosecutors say Tyler had to steal Deans' car so he could kidnap someone. He, Turner and Williams lured Deans to his home under the guise of romantic reconciliation with his son. Deans instead was robbed, led into nearby woods and killed.
