BURBANK, Calif. (AP) _ Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will rocket back onto the big screen as the starring voices in a sequel to ``Toy Story.''

The sequel will be in theaters next year in time for the Christmas holidays, Walt Disney Co. said Friday.

Allen does the voice of Buzz Lightyear and Hanks is Woody in the computer-animated movie about toys that come to life. In the sequel, Woody is kidnapped by a collector.

``Toy Story'' earned $185 million in North America and $175 million overseas, then sold 22 million videos in the United States.
