August 10, 2018

Raleigh police are searching for suspects after shots were fired in a north Raleigh neighborhood Thursday night.

Several police cars were blocking off multiple units of an apartment complex at 417 Woods of North Bend Dr. as officers responded to a report of an assault with shots fired just before 10 p.m.

Neighbors told WRAL News that they heard as many as 13 shots.

Police said they believe the incident may be connected with a possible home invasion in the area.

Authorities said they are searching for at least two suspects, but did not release any descriptions of them.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident, police said.
