Man charged with assault, strangulation in Orange
ORANGE — A local man was arrested last week after an alleged assault at a Green Hill Road incident.
According to the Orange Police Department, officers responded to an incident at Green Hill Road Thursday afternoon around 2 p.m. Police said officers’ investigation revealed that Bo Xie, 39, Orange, had an argument which turned physical. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged third-degree assault, strangulation, unlawful restraint and risk of injury to a minor.
Xie was held on a $50,000 bond and appeared in court on Friday.
That same day, officers were informed that Xie had violated a restraining order by contacting the subject of the order numerous times with harassing text messages. It’s unclear whether the subject of the restraining order was the same person involved in the alleged physical altercation with Xie.
