Utah Valley Student of the Week: Brandon Sundell
Brandon Sundell, a fourth-grader at Freedom Preparatory Academy, is this week’s Utah Valley Student of the Week. Brandon has been a student at Freedom Prep since first grade and has always demonstrated admirable character and leadership qualities.
Brandon’s teachers are very proud of his hard work. His teacher this year shared that he “is very responsible and respectful. He will go above and beyond with 110 percent. I know I can always count on him to participate, be an example and work well with any partner. He loves to be challenged and will often challenge me to become a better teacher. I love that about him.”
Brandon’s favorite subject is science. He said, “It intrigues me and I love learning about preservation and fossils.”
He is very proud to be a Freedom Prep student and said, “You just feel good in this school.”
He enjoys everything from how nice the building is to how well he is challenged in math and being able to perform above his grade level. Brandon is involved in many things at school. He was on the winning Battle of the Books team this year and had his art selected to appear in the yearbook. He is a member of the student leadership council that initiates service for our school and the community.
When he isn’t at school Brandon enjoys the piano, painting, reading and running. The only thing Brandon doesn’t like? Mondays. I think we would all agree.
We are so proud of Brandon and love having him at Freedom Prep Academy.
