The following preliminary hearings are scheduled before District Judge Sandra L. Stevanus in New Centerville:

Driving under the influence

Charissa Ray Kutch, 28, Latrobe, was charged Jan. 16 with driving under the influence on Jan. 11. State police were dispatched to Sheets Road in Middlecreek Township for a single-vehicle crash. Kutch had a blood alcohol level of 0.23 percent. A hearing is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Feb. 21Chad William Rugg, 27, Blackfield Road, Garrett, was charged Jan. 16 with driving under the influence on Dec. 14. State police noticed Rugg traveling 80 mph on Route 653 in Black Township. His blood alcohol level was 0.15 percent, and his blood tested positive for traces of THC, an active ingredient in cannabis. A hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. March 7.

Furnishing alcohol to minors

Eric Thomas Davis, 19, Younkin Drive, Sarver, was charged Jan. 16 with selling/furnishing liquor to a minor, furnishing liquor, malt or brewed beverages and purchase of alcohol by a minor on Dec. 28. State police liquor control enforcement officers noticed a male who appeared to be under 21 retrieve a can of beer from a passenger side door. Davis admitted to supplying the minor with the beer. A hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. March 21.Adam Vaughn Homberg, 21, Bray School Road, Oakland, Maryland, was charged Jan. 16 with selling/furnishing liquor to minors on Jan. 1. State police liquor control enforcement officers approached three “youthful” individuals at Seven Springs Mountain Resort who were consuming alcohol. Vaughn said he had a friend who worked at a beer distributor where he purchased the beer. A hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. March 21.
