Scientific Games: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
LAS VEGAS (AP) _ Scientific Games Corp. (SGMS) on Wednesday reported a loss of $5.8 million in its second quarter.
The Las Vegas-based company said it had a loss of 6 cents per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for a loss of 6 cents per share.
The instant-win lottery ticket maker posted revenue of $844.7 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $852.3 million.
Scientific Games shares have fallen 11 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $45.80, a rise of 20 percent in the last 12 months.
